Visitor Information

The Newman Wine Vaults Provincial Historic Site is located at 436 Water Street, St. John's, Newfoundland. We are next door to the Newman Building, located at 1 Springdale Street. Google Maps link here.

Hours of Operation and Interpretation Services

Between June and August, the site is open daily from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. In the off-season, the Vaults are open for special events and performances. During the summer season, there are interpreters on site during regular operating hours. In the off-season, tours must be booked in advance. You can do so by calling the Newman Wine Vaults office at 739-7870.

Admission and Tour Fees

During regular summer operating hours, admission is by donation.

Group tour fees are as follows:

Single group tour fees are $40 for groups up to 20 people and $50 for groups up to 30 people. Divided group tour fees are also available for larger groups (conferences, schools, etc). Pre-booked groups are also welcome to add a sampling of Newman's Port to their tour at a cost of $17.95 per bottle opened.
