The nonprofit Newfoundland Historic Trust was formed in 1966 as a citizen's response to built heritage under threat, with a mandate is to preserve the built heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador through outreach, advocacy, and education.
The Newfoundland Historic Trust is a registered charitable organization governed by an annually elected volunteer board of directors.

Our office is located at the Newman Wine Vaults, 436 Water Street, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The site is open to the public daily from 10:00am until 5:30pm daily until August 31 and by appointment in the off-season.
