A Public Meeting was scheduled to have been held on Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at St. John's City Hall to consider an application from Myles-Leger Ltd. to rezone the Belvedere Property located between Bonaventure Avenue and Newtown
Road to the Residential High-Density (R3) Zone, the Commercial Office (CO) Zone and the Commercial Neighbourhood (CN) Zone.

Subsequent to the scheduling of the Public Meeting, a revised plan for proposed rezoning has been submitted to the City of St. John's by Myles-Leger Ltd. The City's Planning Committee has not as yet had an opportunity to discuss the revised application with the proponents, and a decision has been made by the St. John's Municipal Council to postpone the Public Meeting scheduled for April 26, 2000.  The Public Meeting will be rescheduled at a later date and area residents will be notified of the revised date.
